Innes is best known for his professional press and PR client photography, but in recent years he’s switched the focus to his own creative interests.

He designed a war memorial which takes pride of place in the centre of Fareham, has collaborated on a range of spoken word and music projects, designed a 30-metre subway mural, and held successful photo exhibitions on WW1.

His latest photo project, Fareham at Fifty, sees Innes capturing the spirit of the town in a portrait exhibition for the borough’s 50th anniversary.

While he now works in several creative fields, photography has been at the heart of his business for 40 years and Innes Marlow Photographic was one of the south’s leading names in press work as far back as 1985.

This led to a long career working on news, features and sports commissions for newspapers and magazines throughout the south, and for national and international agencies.

He is an award-winning PR photographer and has also worked extensively in in the fields of music and architectural photography.

In a changing business world, the photographic company also added directing, presenting and editing to the photography offering, and expanded into video services, producing high quality productions for corporate clients.

Away from the camera Innes and his wife Alyson enjoyed a successful rallying career competing on the British and World Championship stages as driver and co-driver. This experience together with their media backgrounds led to live and recorded radio work and Innes taking on precision driving commissions for television and film.

Now retired from commercial photography and video work, Innes is concentrating on his own projects.
