WW1 remembered
I’ve just designed and written the new war memorial in Fareham – it is a three-sided Portland stone piece featuring metal poppies growing up each side. The top features a tribute, an adapted version of the last verse of my piece The Hampshire Boys.
The final stonework and metal didn’t change much from my initial scribbled designs.
It was unveiled by the mayor. I’m very proud of it.
