I’ve been doing the Fareham Christmas lights switch-on for a few years but this one is under lockdown. No crowd, and mainly based on a video I’ve shot in the Mayor’s living room. The funny bit is that we were set to do the usual switch-on in town but with a very restricted guest list of four – the Mayor plus consort, me and Father Christmas. Then lockdown rules were tightened further, I was kept on the VIP list and Father Christmas was dropped!
